David got sick Saturday night. He came home from running around at an open house and decided he was not up for dinner. He had a slight fever that kept him lethargic or sleeping all of Sunday. No Easter egg dying for him.

We kept him home from school Monday. No poetry writing for me, but he and I did run a bunch of errands, and by lunchtime he was eating normally perking up. Then the drainage began. Lots of nose blowing and coughing.

Last night he had trouble getting to sleep because of the coughing and woke up the whole house at 5 a.m. with lots more coughing.

In the meantime, John came home from school early Monday with a slight fever and a cough. He's better today except between his cough and David's cough sleep did not go well.

I am still healthy. Rose is still healthy. We are all going to be healthy for when John's parents arrive Monday!
