He lost a tooth. It was a very exciting day yesterday with the tooth loss.

His reading seems to have taken a leap. We are certainly not at fluency, but he's reading the directions for games or the signs around the zoo pretty easily.

His politeness has also seemed to take a step up. I'm not saying we are Little Lord Fauntleroy, but at every play date he has managed to say an audible thank you to the child and grown up host. At all these play dates, they negotiated the toys and games without problem. I overheard things like "Can I have a turn now?" and "Yes." He got all his holiday thank you notes done and is now focused on his birthday thank you notes. When I apologized for forgetting to use the things in the Shabbat box he brought home from Sunday School, he said "That's ok. We'll get it next time."
