my week off

While David is in robotics camp and Rose is in Glacier with grandparents (more on that when she gets back tomorrow mid-day), I have had the week off. Really, really off because John has been driving David to camp. Here's what I've done so far:

--earned 92.00 editing a student's paper even though fixing APA references is not my favorite thing
--scheduled the rat man, the powerwasher, and a landscape artist (and somehow the money I earn will pay for all this)
--met with the rat man (the landscaper meeting is tomorrow)
--revised my cv
--collected references
--wrote two cover letters for jobs
--sent batches of poems to 5 journals (while receiving three rejection letters from previous attempts)
--wrote 9 new poems (it doesn't matter if they are crap, just keep writing)
--lifted weights
--went to jazzercise
--went shopping
--returned the extra rash guards to Sears (I still have two more trips like that to make)
--had a lovely evening socializing with Jed, though to be fair that would have just as easily happened with the kids around
--began planning the children's poetry workshops I'm going to offer at Camp Fire camp in a couple weeks. Of course, I could have used workshops I've done before, but I'm not smart like that. So, three out of the four will be completely new, and I spent hours combing the internet (and finding) more ideas.
--read the book Paris in Love

I feel very relaxed.
