David just finished another great week of camp at the Pacific Science Center. This time he focused on all things gross and yucky. So, the first day he made fake snot. Then there was the fake blood, fake lower intestine, fake dung and dung beetle, fart counting, germ models, dissecting a squid (real!) and writing with its ink. He didn't seem as caught up in the scientific method and observing his moldy bread get moldier, but he liked designing a creature that could pick one's nose (fake). He also liked playing games, and he did this all alone, without a buddy. My shy kid has come far.
