Yet, another holiday in the non-stop holiday that is our family. It was garage sale day Saturday. That means everyone in our two mile radius has a garage sale. Oh the deals!

David came home with pirate sword and Star Wars weebles. Rose came home with a three dimensional kite.

They sold gluten free brownies and chocolate banana bread. It was delightful to be outside greeting all the neighbors, chatting with the neighborhood kids. It felt like a neighborhood is supposed to be. Rose made the brownies on Thursday night and the banana bread that morning. She had planned on more, but did not plan it out well enough and had issues. Yeah. That’s the unfun part of garage sale day, but she recovered with the good sales. They had a couple friends come help staff their table, and a boy down the street sold his gluten cookies at their table and gave them some money as a thank you, so all told, they got 16.00 and a lot of sun and smiles.
