'Just spent a great afternoon with JD^2, B&G and their far-better halves. I can't remember the last time we were all in the same room together, and of course the highlight was B&G, talking about Cuba: "And the prostitutes?" Don't even get me started!" with his wife sitting a foot away.

I'm on a plane back to Chi-town in several hours. (Maybe I should pack.) The trip serves two primary functions:

1. To ace an interview on the 29th (think good thoughts, dammit).

2. Create more marvelously hazy memories with such sorry J-school slackers as Racist Notre Dame, 19th Hole, Stonito, Kirtyword, Smashtar, and ToriKatzClassRep, among others.

Hey look, there's a high of 39 degrees tomorrow. That's awesome. Anyways, talk to y'all after the New Year.
