2013-06-05 1:02 PM Warm Bodies (Spoilers) And How It Compares To Autistics Mood: Contemplative |
In a movie called "Warm Bodies", a zombie named R. and a girl named Julie fall in love. He protects her repeatedly, and warns her about the villians, the Bonies. Julie is your likeable, tough as nails personality type girl. She may not be strong, but she's not a prissy person like the other women that need to be saved in movies.
Eventually, R. becomes human. But before he does, like most autistic people, he faces some discrimination from humans and some humans have stereotypes about him. And plus, he notices the world can be a cold, unfeeling place. And R. learns what it means to be "human", like most autistic people do. And eventually, despite the intolerant father of Julie, Julie decides to accept that she loves R. no matter how odd he is, behavior wise. Like some autistics and their romantic partners. I, however, am single and don't experience a romantic relationship where someone loves me for who I am. I want to experience that, though. Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
