Those who are part of the GLBT community are definitely most likely to be bullied by non-accepting peers, commit suicide, be kicked out of their homes. Why? Because of religious bigots who claim that being a part of the GLBT community is being a pedophile and/or pervert, and the bigots have a belief that "homosexuality is a sin". The bigots claim being part of the GLBT community is the reason STDs and AIDs exist. Sound familiar?

But there is no proof that being gay, bisexual, a lesbian, transvestite or transsexual can cause AIDS and STDs as the bigots like to claim, however there is proof that unprotected sex does. I am not going to argue the religious points, because I am not an expert on religion.

How would I know? Many reasons. I fell for the question "Are you gay?" when asked by some girls in middle school, thinking it meant "happy" like they told me, so I said "yes". That resulted in bullying. I even felt different in the sixth grade. I knew about it for sure when I was 18, but feared being kicked out by my parents. So I hid it from everyone until my early 20s. My parents accepted me, of course. Not everyone is lucky with accepting parents, though.
