Okay, I really don't understand why "Facebook" is banned by some families. I heard the argument it lets people know where you are and allows burglars as well as random strangers to break into your home. And the argument once the conversations are out there, they are OUT there for GOOD.

Isn't that what "Internet Netiquette" classes are for? Well, that's what I think. The reason I'm arguing this is because a few of my disabled friends are not allowed on "Facebook". I got lectured on making two accounts for them, not knowing that they aren't allowed on "Facebook".

I understand there can be drug references and porn, but that's what the "Report" button is for. Getting insults that are full of derogatory behavior? No worries, just report it to the "Facebook" staff. While they don't fix all of them, they fix some of them.

How I learned how to behave on the "Internet" was basically good parenting where my parents taught me what to do and what NOT to do as well as learning "Internet Etiquette" at school. So yeah, I'm pissed. So I'm ranting here.
