2013-11-12 4:33 PM Living With Allergies |
It sucks. Knowing you can't have certain foods. But be grateful there ARE foods for people with allergies. Like, for example, I can't have strawberries and blueberries because I vomited after I had them in a drink three times.
I'm also lactose intolerant and severely allergic to peanut butter and eggs. Plus, I can't have corn, fish, seafood, wheat and gluten. So, that eliminates a lot of foods. I also can't have rice or anything rice-related. So that eliminates pasta, too. This is why allergy awareness is so important. At least I can have beef, chicken, salads and not only that, I can have lactose-free milk and water too. I can still have diet pop. So yeah, if your loved one has allergies, and says he/she is allergic to foods, listen to him or her and assume he or she is not faking it, unless he/she is a pathological liar or just plain untrustworthy and dishonest. That sums up my "Entry Of The Day". Thanks for reading! Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
