The 101 Is Empty
Previous Entry :: Next Entry

Mood:
Tired

Driving to school this morning was a breeze. There was no traffic on the 101. Which is surprising, especially since there was an accident in the middle lane. A compact car ran into the back of a bus. The bus didn't have a scratch on it. The front of the car was gone. But the driver was standing next to the car and looked to be all right. Seems the freeway was empty today because it's a holiday. President's Day. And yet I'm still at school. No holiday for Jen. Just 13 hours at school. Any why doesn't Pepperdine give us the day off like every other school does? Because the administration is a bunch of crack monkeys. Pepperdine's first Spring Break was last year. And they decided that since we now get a Spring Break, that we should be at school on President's Day. Even though every other major college gets both. This sucks.

Oh, I forgot to mention the vultures from the Bridal Expo yesterday. It was scary. Girls kept staring at other girls hands and checking out their rings. At one point I saw a gaggle of girls looking at me. Didn't know why until one of them said "I hate her". That's when I noticed they were looking at my left hand. Why are women so catty about these things?

So, I'm here again. At school. Bored and tired. I want to sleep. Badly. On the bright side, we're watching a movie called Norma Rae in Labor Law today. And if the lights are off maybe I can catch some sleep then. I know, bad Jen, but it's not going to be on the final. And if I'm not going to be tested on it for the final or for the bar I really could care less. Ah, sleep deprived apathy. Gotta love it.
