Wow. I can't believe that Rob and I have now been married for five months. Time has really flown. It doesn't seem like it's really been five months since our wedding. This is too cool.

Tonight was lots of fun. I didn't do much during the day (slept in, watched Passions, and talked on the phone a bit), but tonight was very nice. Carrie came over tonight around 6ish and Rob and I decided to give her the b-day presents we got for her a day early. She had a rough morning and I thought she could use the presents today. I got her a very large stuffed Bedtime Bear and Rob got her a box of Godiva chocolates. I hope that she likes them. After chilling out for a little bit, the three of us went to the Media City Center mall over in Burbank.

The first place we stopped in was Queen Nails. I had a manicure appointment for 7pm. I had to wait a bit for my appointment, but it was worth it in the end. I had monster cuticles and was in desperate need of a manicure. So, I got my nails done and even decided to get them done something other than clear (my nails chip rather quickly so I usually get them done with clear polish, that is, when I wear any polish on them at all). I picked out a pretty white/pearlescent color. It took about half an hour for the whole manicure to be done. After my nails dried a bit the three of us headed over to Johnny Rockets for dinner. We gorged ourselves on yummy food (mmmm, chili cheese fries) and then decided to hit the mall for a little bit. There wasn't much time before the movie started, so Carrie made a quick run to Express while Rob and I made a quick run to Lane Bryant. While there I pondered about getting a really cool jacket (denim trimmed with faux fur), but decided against it because I don't really ever get cold in LA and thus never wear a jacket. I did pick up some pairs of panties though. No, I wasn't being a panty whore, I actually needed a few new pairs (string bikinis of course). After about ten minutes of shopping we all met back up outside the theatre. We headed in and saw American Wedding. Very cute and very funny. It lived up to the standards of the other two films and didn't dissappoint me. If you liked the first two, this one is definitely worth seeing.

After the movie we all headed back to my place. Carrie grabbed her presents and said hello to the cats and the headed home. She has a hell day in front of her tomorrow - poor girl has to move on her birthday. But, hopefully tomorrow night will make up for things. A group of us are all going to dinner for her birthday. Should be fun.

Well, I think it's time to log off and munch on some strawberries. Yum.

I am a sleepy kitty face down in a pile of food.

Which sleepy kitty would you be?
