I took my car in to the dealer this morning to be serviced. Because it usually takes awhile for the service to be done, they gave me a loaner car. So, I got to try out a new Lexus RX330. Damn. That is one nice car.

I love Luther (my current car), but I think I might have found a car that I actually like more. The RX330 is pretty much my car (the RX300) only better. It has a lot more bells and whistles and it drives MUCH better (which is saying a lot because my car drives pretty damn well). The 330 is pretty much an SUV that drives like a sports car. The engine is incredible and the car has a better turning radius than a lot of sports cars that I have driven.

So, I am tempted to make an appointment down the road to see how much one of the 330's would cost with my 300 as a trade in. On one hand, the 330 is incredible. On the other, I do love my current car and don't really want to give it up. Besides, it would feel weird to trade in this car - I've only had it for 2 years (it has around 20,000 miles on it). But I guess it's worth seeing just how much a 330 would be with mine as a trade in. Especially if we make that move to Chicago. Then I could sell my car here and buy a new car in Illinois which would mean I wouldn't have to worry about trying to have my car shipped across the country.

If any of you are in the market for a new car (or hell, even if you aren't and just like test driving cool cars) I highly recommend trying out the RX330. Especially if you're an SUV fan like I am.

Not super much is going on with me today. As I said earlier, I have my car in the shop for most of today. So, I'm going to hang around here until it's time to pick it up. After I pick it up I'll probably do some grocery shopping (Rob is going to cook vegetarian chili for dinner tonight and I need to find some fake burger crumble and other various ingredients for it). Kind of a boring day, but I can deal with that. Especially since I know this weekend is going to kick some seroious ass in the fun department (D&D Friday night and Knott's Halloween Haunt on Saturday night).
