After getting next to no sleep on Friday night, when Saturday night rolled around I was happy to go to bed. Unfortunately, my insomnia wasn't gone. Rob passed out pretty much at the moment his head hit the pillow. I stared at the clock and tossed and turned. My body was tired, my mind was tired, I was seriously sleep depped (to the point of going kind of crazy and seeing things), but I could not fall asleep. Around 3am I got fed up and took a mega powered sleep aid. Normally those things drop me within a half an hour. It did nothing. After more tossing and turning (at around 4am) I decided to try sleeping on the couch. Rob was snoring pretty loudly and breathing on me and while normally I could care less, last night it was a bit annoying. So, I went out to the couch and tried to sleep. Around 7am I finally started going in and out of sleep. Around 8am I wandered back into bed becasue the couch has no blankets and I was cold.

I slept on and off until about 3pm today. I got some sleep which was a very good thing, but not as much as I should have. I tried to go back to sleep, but couldn't. I've felt weak and tired all day so Rob and I cancelled our plans to go out and see a movie and decided to just do things around the house like watch TV and order in food for dinner. I really hope that I can fall asleep tonight. This whole massive lack of sleep thing is starting to mess with my head and that's really not cool. I need some serious uninterrupted sleep or I'm going to lose it.

Anyone out there know of any cures for some serious insomnia?
