Last Minute Preparations

Can't wait until tomorrow!

Last night Rob and I did some final LA Xmas shopping. There was a down throw that I saw when we were at Target that I thought would be good for my Nana. So, we picked that up and found the type of purse she wanted. It even has a light inside of it so you can see what's in there. Very cool. For this we once again hit the Target in Burbank. It's the easiest one to get to.

After Target we grabbed dinner at a nearby Olive Garden. Yum. Then we headed back home and messed around on the Neopets site some. It's scary how much I use this new computer. During the day it's all about job hunting, but when Rob's home we usually play around on the net on sites like Neopets. It's rather addictive, but better than zoning out in front of the TV.

Today I'm pretty much just doing last minute things before we head out on our trip. Tomorrow we head out to my Mom's place in Galena, Illinois for a week. So, today I'm doing the laundry and cleaning up a bit around here. Tonight Rob and I need to do most of our packing and get the place ready for Tina. She'll be coming over tomorrow and be cat sitting while we're gone. We want the place to be at least presentable for her.

Tomorrow we'll be waking up around 6am and our limo picks us up at 8am to take us to LAX. Then it's off to the Milwaukee airport (about a 4 hour plane ride or so). Then my Mom picks us up at the airport and drives us to her place in Galena (about a 3 hour car ride or so). There's going to be a lot of travelling and sitting tomorrow! But it should be worth it. I've been dying to go back out to my Mom's place since last year when I left and came back to LA. It's so beautiful out there and it's nice to be able to get away from LA for a bit.

So, as of tomorrow I'll be heading on vacation. My Mom has a new computer so I should be able to post from there. I don't know how much I'll actually get on line out there, but I'll try to keep you all updated on what's going on with me in Illinois. Happy holidays everyone!
