Yesterday morning maintenance finally came up to look at the problem in our bathroom. When the guy got here, Rob explained the situation to him. It went a little something like this:

Guy: So, what's the problem you're having?
Rob: Well, the other day I had to plunge the toilet and when I did so rust and feces backed up into our bathtub.
Guy: So, your toilet's not working?
Rob: No, the toilet is fine. I was able to unclog it. The problem is that rust and for lack of a better word... crap came into our bathtub.
Guy: But the toilet is working?
Rob: Yes.
Guy: So there's no problem then?
Rob: The problem is that rust and poo came into our shower through the drain!
Guy: That was probably just a coincidence that had nothing to do with the toilet.
Rob: Can you do something about the shower? I really don't think it's good to have feces coming into it.
Guy: Nope, I can't do anything for that.
Rob: How about snaking it?
Guy: I can't do that! It's Sunday my friend!

So, Rob spoke with management and let them know that this was in all probability a health hazard. So, they poured some Draino down it and told us to call them back if it happened again. Can you now see why Rob and I are getting fed up with this place? Oh, and we still haven't decided if we're going to pay the huge fee to keep TV on after the 30th.

Last night Rob and I headed out to eat at The Olive Garden. We had to wait an hour for a table. And there was no room inside, so we grabbed a bench outside and froze our asses off. It was down in the 40's! When they called us in for our table it was SO nice to de-thaw. Dinner was yummy and worth the wait. When we were done we headed back home and just did stuff around the house.
