Last night Rob and I headed out in the rain (yes, it was once again raining out here - since when did I move to fucking Seattle???) to the nail salon. We both got pedis and I got my toes painted purple. I chose purple since our second wedding anniversary is coming up this month and our wedding colors were black, white, and dark purple. I still need to get a mani done in the future. When my toes were drying under the lamp the song that Rob and I had our first dance to at our wedding came on ("Deliver Me" by Sarah Brightman). We were both kind of surprised since it's a pretty obscure song. I guess the salon just happened to have a CD with the song on it. Weird. He came over and put his arms around me and the girl drying her nails next to me commented that she thought we were great together. I told her that this was our wedding song and she mentioned that even before the song came on we just seemed very much in love, and that's something you don't see a lot with couples these days. I thought it was nice that she said something. I know Rob is my soulmate even though sometimes we have our disagreements, and it was just kind of cool for someone to notice how close we are.

After my toes dried we made a quick grocery store run for a few items we needed to get right away and then headed home and ordered in Thai food, gamed, and watched the news on TV.
