This morning we had a bit of an odd wake up call. Rob's alarm went off around 6:15am as usual. He was half awake and I was still passed out. Just a few seconds after his alarm went off the phone rang. He got it and it was the police calling from the guest lot of the building asking to be buzzed in. They said they needed to search a car. He turned on the TV to see the camera for that lot and sure enough there was a Burbank police car outside so he buzzed them in. After doing so I got a bit worried as to why they called us. We weren't the ones who called the police so I didn't know if it was one of our cars they wanted to search.

So, since I was still half asleep and Rob was now awake (and the only one of us wearing pants) he headed down to see what the hell was going on. Looks like they came to the wrong building. They were told it was "the big building" on the street where we live. They assumed this one. It was actually the huge complex across the street. When they mentioned the address Rob let them know that they wanted the place across the street. Weirdness. Getting a wake up call from the police is a sure fire way to get anyone up and out of bed.

Well, I had better get going. I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon and have a ton of things to do before I head out of the house. I'll post about the appointment sometime tomorrow.
