I've spent over an hour slogging through a week's worth of e-mail, most of which was spam. Ugh. I'm extremely uncomfortable, so this is going to be a short entry. I'll do a real entry on what happened last weekend probably tomorrow or the day after.

But, in a nutshell, I went into labor on the night of Friday the 17th. After 16 1/2 hours of labor had an emergency c-section. Gabriel was born on Saturday the 18th at 9:30am. He weighed in at 7 pounds and 12 1/2 ounces. Pretty damn good considering I had GD! He was 19 1/2 inches long. Both Gabriel and I were kept in the hospital until Wednesday. He's doing well and I'm doing as good as can be expected after major abdominal surgery. I need help doing simple tasks and even walking, so having my Mom out here is a Godsend.

I want to post about the whole ordeal and will very soon. However, I get exhausted very quickly and sitting in this chair is rather painful. I just wanted to put something up here for now.
