A New D&D Game

Last night Berek and Pita came over for the D&D game. Bryce and Carrie have decided to opt out. The last time we ran the game was back in January and without two of the players none of us thought that the same game would work anymore. So, we agreed to lay that game to rest and start a new one. Rob came up with the idea for a campaign where we all start out evil and work for some uber evil overlord. Last night we brainstormed ideas for new characters (we're allowed to start out at level 7). Berek came up with the idea for a Drow cleric/rogue. Pita came up with the idea of a Changeling (not a faerie, more like a person who can change their appearance) necromancer. And I'm thinking of playing a lycanthrope (were-panther) paladin of slaughter. I don't know if these characters are set in stone or not, but it should be a very interesting and fun party if this is what we all end up with. Should be an interesting game.

Giving some thought over to my character I don't want to be the "grr me kill" type of paladin of slaughter. So, she's a paladin of Malcanthet (the Queen of Succubi) and will probably be more of the seductive type who always gets what she wants (and if not then she goes on a killing spree). Like I said before, it should be an interesting game.

After Berek and Pita headed out last night Rob and I made a drive through run for dinner. I couldn't really eat much before then because my stomach was bothering me. Yes, those street vendor bacon wrapped hot dogs were indeed a bad idea. I knew it at the time, but hey, they are tasty.

Jormungand

In Norse mythology, Jormungand is one of the three children of the god Loki and his wife, the giantess Angrboda. The gods were well aware that this monster was growing fast and that it would one day bring much evil upon gods and men. So Odin deemed it advisable to render it harmless. He threw the serpent in the ocean that surrounds the earth, but the monster had grown to such an enormous size that it easily spans the entire world, hence the name Midgard Serpent. It lies deep in the ocean where it bites itself in its tail, and all mankind is caught within his coils. At the destruction of the universe, Jormungand and Thor will kill each other.
