Friday night Pita came over and we hung out. We didn't have D&D because Berek was in England. We all went to Burbank and grabbed dinner at Sbarro and then made a Baskin Robbins stop on the way home. We then just chilled out around the apartment, talked, and played with Gabriel.

Saturday we headed out east and I made a quick stop at the Lane Bryant in LaVerne. Yet another of my lounge pants ended up with a huge hole in the thigh of the left leg. *sigh* I replaced that pair, got a few extras for when other ones go, and picked up some t-shirts as well. We then went to Golden China for dinner and after dinner we headed out to the Babies R Us in Ontario. We picked up a baby toothbrush for Gabriel (he now has two teeth coming in) and some formula. They were out of the crates we usually get so we had to just buy a ton of individual cans. We bought the last of the single cans that they had. That should last us about a week and so next weekend we'll need to try and find more formula crates. After Babies R Us we stopped at Lollicup for some boba and then headed back to our area. On the way home we made a stop at The Game Zone to pick up the new Colossal Red Dragon miniature and then headed back home for the night.

Sunday we just stayed in and chilled out. Neither of us was up for going out and figured staying in would be a good idea considering how fussy Gabriel has been recently. We decided to somewhat ignore our doctor's food order list and snuck in some applesauce yesterday. He was... okay with it. He ate a few spoonfulls before not wanting any more. Heh, at least he ate some of it. So, now we have: rice cereal - seems to like it a lot and will usually eat it, carrots - sometimes he'll eat a few spoons, sometimes not, green beans - hates them and won't eat them, chicken - hates it with a passion and cries when we try to feed it to him, and applesauce - eats a few spoonfulls before deciding it's not his thing.

This morning I had quite a scare. Gabriel and I were sleeping when Rob left for work and around 8am he woke me up with choking noises. I immediatly picked him up and it looked like he might have had some reflux. Milk and mucus were coming out of his nose and he spat out a glob from his mouth. It took him awhile to recover (he was scared and so was I) but he did and he went back to sleep. I didn't get much sleep after that because I kept watching him to make sure he was okay. Scared the shit out of me. He's been okay for the rest of the day so far.

So yeah, today is the five year anniversary of September 11. I don't feel like talking much about it. Five years ago today I had a friend from college die and had to pull my then boyfriend (now husband) out of a catatonic state. It was a bad time. I remember it, I will never be able to forget it, and I'm thankful to all of the men and woman of the military who are out there trying to make sure it never happens again. That's all I wish to say on the matter.

What Your Soul Really Looks Like
You are very passionate and quite temperamental. While you can be moody, you always crave comfort.

You are a very grounded, responsible, and realistic person. People may not want to hear the truth from you, but they're going to get it.

You believe that people see you as larger than life and important. While this is true, they also think you're a bit full of yourself.

Your near future is in a very different place (both physically and mentally) from where you are right now.

For you, love is all about caring and comfort. You couldn't fall in love with someone you didn't trust.
