Gabriel and I both still have the poopies. His seems to be getting somewhat better. Mine is only better if I eat nothing.

My Mom headed out this morning. She made a stop off to visit my Nana and then headed back home. I got a call from her letting me know that she's home safe and sound. I already miss her. On the bright side, I get to see her again in one week. She's coming out for a few days when Rob starts his new job just to make my transition all alone with Gabriel a bit easier. Whew. So nice of her. Though job hunting and sending out resumes is going to be difficult when I have to constantly supervise Gabriel. Ah well, looks like I know how I'll be spending my nights.

Today was all about the errands. We made a run to the bank to make some deposits and withdrawals. We went to the post office to mail out a slew of bills (postal rant to follow). I stopped at Walgreen's for a few necessary items. We grabbed dinner. And then it was back home for the night.

Okay, postal rant. Apparently we have a new postal carrier and apparently they're inept. We've tried, for the past several non-holiday days, to mail something off from home. We put it in our mailbox and put the flag up, should be simple, right? No. Every time we do this, the postal carrier comes, ignores the flag, and put the mail in our box on top of the letter to be mailed. We called the post office to complain and were told it was a new person working and that we were the fifth person on our block to call. *sigh*

Tonight we gamed and I did up two loads of laundry. Gabriel's been super fussy all day and all night long. And his new obsession is throwing plastic spoons into a little panel below the fireplace.
