Uh-oh. There's going to be baby poop everywhere today. Gabriel didn't poop yesteday. When he poops today, it's gonna be a monster poop. I warned Rob when he left for work this morning that the apartment might just be covered in baby poop when he got home tonight. I do not look forward to the poopsplosion that I know is going to happen at some point today.

Last night's dinner of white beans with tuna was amazing. It's probably my favorite crock pot recipe so far. Soooooo yummy!

Last night we just chilled out and I gave the Poopchuck a bath.

Today I'm getting four loads of laundry done and cooking up and black bean and rice soup.

I talked to L today and it was nice to have an adult conversation (though there was much baby talk, that's to be expected between two mommies). She even got to hear Gabriel have one of his tantrums in the background! Hehe. Welcome to the terrible twos.

It's currently 21 outside and I have the heat turned off and the balcony door opened a tiny little crack. I'm not the only penguin in this house. Rob and I realized that Gabriel is just like me - he also loves the cold. He also has a lower than normal core body temperature like I do as well. Apparently that has something to do with our love of the cold. It's days like this, when it's cool and crisp outside, that I LOVE living somewhere where there is winter. And looking outside and seeing the blanket of snow (and in some cases piles as tall as a tree) doesn't hurt either. Beautiful.
