There are a few things that I forgot to mention in my last entry, so I thought I'd pop on and write them down before I forget yet again.

First and foremost, thank all of you who sent cards and e-mails for my birthday (belated comments too!). I really appreciate it.

The first snow of the year came on my birthday. It was on and off while I was getting my fish tattoo fixed and on and off that night. You all know how much I like the cold and how much of a penguin I am, so I thought it was pretty cool that the first snow of the season came on my birthday.

Rob got me a cake from a local bakery and it was AMAZING. I have pics and I'll post them whenever I find the time to upload them (sometime after Halloween). He was able to get them to do a drawing of Strahd on it. Yeah, scary, but also really cool. Describing it would not do it justice, so I'll just post pics of it later on.

Today has been busy ever since getting home and unpacking. I've had to do three loads of laundry and will have to do more (not including a trip to the landromat for large items) tomorrow.

Sydney is very happy that we're all back and keeps trying to eat my hair.
