Sydney and Cooking

Sydney had his vet check up yesterday. I got the call back today about all of his work ups. Seems his kidneys are holding stable and are actually in the normal range. The k/d food seems to be doing a great job for him. His potassium was low, so he needs to be back on supplement pills. Also, he could stand to gain some weight so I was given a kidney friendly recipe for him if we don't mind cooking for him. He's 15 years old and will be 16 in May and for that age, is in excellent health. Hopefully, he'll be around and healthy for many more years to come.

Gabriel had his first cooking class today and they made "Puppy Chow". We were told that Gabriel had an absolute blast and seems to love the cooking class. I kind of expected that when he wanted to help me make him scrambled eggs the other day. He's like his daddy, a boy who likes to cook.

Okay, I'll admit it, I'm digging this whole facebook thing. Not only have I been able to re-connect with old friends from Los Angeles and college, but, I've found a ton of my old high school friends! There's no way I would have been able to get back in touch with them if it wasn't for this, so, I'll admit it. Facebook is cool and I do think I'll be sticking with it. However, I refuse to ever get sucked into any of the games on there. I don't have enough time in the day as it is to do the things I need to get done and I do not need another time suck.
