2008-05-14 5:06 PM the plus side I have really bad heartburn. I have heartburn alot, acid reflux, acid indigestion, burning pain in my esophagus. I've taken to carrying a bottle of tums in my purse most days because I know I'll need to chew some before the day is out. On the plus side, you know I love the plus side, I'm getting alot of calcium through the tums. This is good for me considering I don't eat and/or drink many things that have calcium in them. I don't really like milk. I get milk at the store through my WIC vouchers, but we usually don't even drink half of what we can get. I don't eat a whole lot of cheese unless it comes with a pretzel :) As far as juice, I like juice, but since I got knocked up I prefer water. I've never been a fruit lover although sometimes I just have to have an apple. The more I think about this, the more I realize that I'm not really that good at taking care of myself. Let us all hope I do a better job when I'm in charge of someone elses life.
About being a mother, I'm not worried about that. I know I can do that job. I do worry about things, like will Muffin be happy, will he grow up to be a good boy, will I be able to give him everything in the whole entire world. Now, I know most of the answers to these questions already, or I know that it will be quite a while before I get an answer, but I think the wondering is half the fun. I waddle when I walk. Yup, I sure do. MD laughs at me and tells me I'm cute, but I just feel like a round meatball, waddling down the lane. I told MD today that his head was shaped like a piece of corn. I often blurt out really weird things to him, I guess it's my aquarius personality coming out. Anyway, he told me that if his head was a corn, that I was a tomato. I could have gotten irritated with him, but it was too funny and I laughed really hard, it was a good one and he is right, I look like a 'mater. I don't mind, this is the first time in my life that I can get as round as I want and I don't have to feel fat. I don't have to feel fat, but some days I do anyway. Other than that, it's business as usual. I feel pretty good these days and I'm hoping to get some major cleaning and organizing done. I'm still trying to figure out how long I will work before I take time off, but we'll have to see how it goes. Read/Post Comments (4) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
