Well, the doctors office called a couple of hours ago with the results of my three hour glucose tolerance test.

The nurse that called told me that my blood sugar level during the three hour test was "a little high", I'm not quite sure what this means. She didn't say that I have gestational diabetes, she didn't say I didn't. Pretty much all I found out was that I have to go into the doctors office tomorrow morning for a consultation with a nurse regarding my diet.

They said on the phone that they want me to go on a 2,000 calorie a day diet. What calories have to do with gestational diabetes I don't know. I will admit I really don't know too much about it at all. Of course the doctors office wasn't very clear about what was going on while I was on the phone with them, but tonight when MD gets home, I'm going to sit down with him and make a list of all the questions I have and I'm not leaving that office tomorrow until I have a satisfactory answer to all of them.

All I want is for everything to be okay with Muffin. Whatever I have to do to make sure that happens, I'll do. I still don't trust my doctors, so I'll be doing alot of research about this whole thing. I want to be as well informed as possible about whats going on.

I only have about two and a half months left until Muffin is born, I know it will all be worth it when I see his tiny little face and I hold him in my arms.

Carrying this baby has been the hardest thing I have ever done, but it has been the most beautiful too. I know a part of me will be sad when the pregnancy is over, but a bigger part will just be relieved that he's here and he's fine. I can't wait to meet him :)
