The Original Party Girl

Tonight while driving Caitlin back from her weekly Friday night outing a song by Yes came on the radio. I haven't consciously listened to any of their music in years, but it brought back instant memories of college and how Jon Anderson's voice always gave me chills. In the best possible way.

Dreams: I went into a convenience store for a bag of Cape Cod potato chips (the ones that come in a white bag) to eat with my lunch. There were several other people with me - they were apparently people I worked with, although the memory of them is very indistinct. I ended up buying bags and bags of groceries, picking up item after item from the shelves. It must have been a well-stocked convenience store. This seems to have been a subtle reminder that I haven't cooked in months. It's never a good sign when your dishwasher is filled with only glasses, bowls and silverware.

After the manic grocery shopping dream had faded, I dreamt that I was dressed up as Bakery Girl (I remember thinking this in the dream). I had blonde hair in braids wrapped in Princess Leia buns and a vaguely Germanic dress with that "lift and separate" look to the top of it and a short, full skirt with lots of petticoats underneath it. Sort of like if St. Pauli Girl went to Burning Man.
