Has anyone read SPECIAL TOPICS IN CALAMITY PHYSICS by Marisha Pessl?
I read the whole damn thing and I don't think I got it. I'm not even sure why I read the whole damn thing. If you read it, what did you think of it? It's sort of like my first taste of tofu; I was at the Japanese pavillion's restaurant during - as I recall - Expo 67. My mom and I had dinner there, starting with miso soup. It had tofu in it and I finished it. But I was never sure and finally I figured out that no, I didn't like it. I liked the soup okay, but not the stuff in it. Even though I ate it all. I don't think I liked this book. I even think I finally figured out why. But I can't figure out what kept me going until the end. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
