Has it seriously been over two weeks since I've posted?

Zany.

Well, it isn't because there's nothing going on. More like because there's too much going on.

Guess I'll just ramble for a bit.

Vegas last weekend.

So much fun. Saw a wonderful friend whom I had never met. ...follow that? ...saw other friends whom I had met. Saw my parents. Saw my sister. ...and got even further behind in my work. Gah.

Seeing the family was nice but a harsh reminder that there are so few of us left. Doesn't feel right. Ya know? So....this is our family now, huh?

Heavy sigh.

T's boss is being an asshat so we're looking at moving. Options? Not many. Southern California for twice the living expenses and a paycut for me (what a deal, huh?) or Colorado for approximately the same living expenses, a paycut for me and being in the office with asshat for T. Another great deal.

Or we stay where we are and pretend we don't really need two incomes. *rolls eyes*

Or...we pray really hard that the powers that be come around and decide that T working from afar is a really good thing. After all, they praise his work, tell him they love what he's doing, but.... that "it is against our policy to employ anyone who is not in one of the two offices."

Idjits.

My annual review is coming up and I fear that I've accomplished nothing since this time last year.

Go figure. Something (and a few someones) came into my life about a year ago. Think I can put that on my vita? ..."But, I've gained many friends and improved my personal health tenfold." Really. Publications? "Yeah, I've written a ton on this thing we call 'the boards'."

Life is good.

I refuse to believe that it is not.

Refuse.
