There you were all dressed up, So I went over and said, whats up, We got talking, did a bit of walking. I told you everything you wanted to hear, Then after that I would disappear, Id come back later to see how you are, Then I guess we talked about your car. I was all for you and I think your were to, We kissed that night it was something new, We got drinking forgot about thinking, I got to know you fairly well, Almost like someone casted a spell, Then came the night we got together, After that things changed forever, Never the same, I had won the game, The chase was over, and from that I was never sober, The talking slowed right down and the messages went away, I just ran out of things I wanted to say, I made no effect, I know you tried, I will say this I never lied, Im sorry if you cried, Or even if I killed you a little inside It was never you! I just lost interest. |
