Just a few days ago, I bought my first ever pair of converse high top shoes. When I told Phil that I'd bought them, he referred to them as Chucks. I'd never heard them called that before. Then I wore them to Ian and Colleen's place and the moment I walked in the door, Colleen commented that I was wearing new Chucks. I guess I missed out on some part of the trivia growing up. Then again, we shouldn't be at all surprised that I did, now should we?

I do like them though, they're pretty comfy shoes. The new sandals I bought still remain to be seen-they don't seem to keep my feet as cool as I'd hoped they would. Oh well.
