Thanks to Collency for this one, although she threw me a softball.

Here's how it works: Comment on this entry and I will give you a letter. Write ten words beginning with that letter in your journal, including an explanation of what the word means to you and why, and then pass out letters to those who want to play along.

My letter is P:

Phil-my husband. We've been married for almost 8 years and involved for almost 13 years. I couldn't ask for a better person-patient, kind, loving, worth every penny (& more).

Parenting- I love being a parent and I like to think I do a pretty good job of it. It helps to have such an awesome kid though (even if he won't go to sleep tonight and it's 2 hours past his bedtime).

Physics- I'm a physics teacher. The reason that I love Physics is that it gives us more insight and understanding of the world around us. Gives us a better way to predict and describe it. (can you tell I'm much more into the classical stuff than that new fangled Physics)

Peach- Not the fruit (althogh I do love Monica's peach cobbler) but rather, my sister's favorite color. When my parent's built their house we both got to choose what color our accent wall would be. Mine was blue and hers was peach. She still likes it, but doesn't wear it constantly like she used to do.

Parents-my parents, that is. I know I had great times growing up, but one thing that stuck with me was their involvement. They were so supportive, always coming to all my performances, and to soccer games and all that stuff as much as possible, and holding great enthusiasm for it all the while too.

People-I'm an extrovert, who appreciates some down time, I can get overwhelmed, but I really enjoy socializing with people who I know and like

Pajamas-to bed, I wear a t-shirt or a t-shirt and sweats, but I love when we have Pajama day at school. I'm not usually quite that comfortable at work/school.

Pentax-I have an Optio WPi. I wanted a camera that I could carry around with me everywhere, so here it is. It's small, takes great pictures, and is even waterproof. Not perfect-it's been replaced by Pentax once, but at least that was free of charge.

Patience-patience is not something that I have a great deal of, I get frustrated and angry and have a hard time waiting for things to get resolved. I want to know and I want to know NOW!!!

Perform- I love performing, other than my captive audience at work I don't get to do it much anymore, I miss it, but don't know how I'd fit it in if I did decide to do it again.

Pets-Yeah, I know this is 11, but it just popped into my head so here it is. Growing up we had a string of dogs-Butch, Shaina, Dibbuk, Thunder all German Shepherds. And also some cats-Coke, Mouse, Fluffy. There were many guppies and neon tetras, but I don't think we've named them. My only personally owned pet was a ball python named Teufel that I had from the time I graduated from high school until LB was starting to get old enough that I worried about him doing something like pulling the cage over onto himself or something similar.

You know you thought you'd gotten away without it, but no, it didn't escape. And now, tied for #12...

Pee, poop, and potty-Words used in our home daily-but what would you expect with a 3 year old in the house?

And now I think I'm really done.
