I'm sort of a preipheral RevGalBlogPal-I read many of their blogs, but don't contribute much, but figured I'd join in today-it beats doing all the stuff I'm SUPPOSED to be doing.

And because I feel like playing, and why the heck not...

1. Grammatical pet peeve

"I could care less." Well, if you could care less then obviously you care some, which is exactly the opposite of what you're trying to say. Next time try, "I COULDN'T care less." Sadly, I think this one is a losing battle, it becomes more and more prevalent as time passes.

Your and you're bug me lots, along with there, they're, and their.

2. Household pet peeve

Inability to put water in dishes when put into the sink causing whatever bits of food were left on them to become like glue, never to be removed again.

3. Arts & Entertainment pet peeve (movie theaters, restaurants, concerts)

Inappropriate behavior-cat calls at a classical concert and that sort of thing.

4. Liturgical pet peeve

{bows out of this one}

5. Wild card--pet peeve that doesn't fit any of the above categories

Inattentive drivers. Pay attention to the road; when the light turns green, go; if there's not a stop sign at the intersection, don't stop at it. And most of all, please don't ignore the fact that I'm here in my car.

Bonus: Because all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God: What do YOU do that others might consider a pet peeve?

Ask questions when I already have an answer I'm trying to get out of the recipeint, or asking a multiple option question but only including one option, then asking, "what about X?"
