Once again: Brought to us by the RevGalBlogPals

OK, so it happens on Saturday, it's when I have time.

David Letterman used to have a feature on his show called "Brushes with Greatness." Members of the audience would share stories of encounters with famous people. And so...

1. Tell us about a time you met someone famous.
I live in Los Angeles, you'd think I have more, but right now I can't come up with a single one, at least not a meeting someone famous. I went to school with the twins who played Carrie on Little House on the Prarie, I "dated" Keith Mitchell (Coogan)in Jr. High, hung out with Gabe Jarret (the kid in Real Genius) in Jr. High, and was in band with, drum majored by, and hug out some with Zen Gesner. But none of these is really a WOW, I GOT TO MEET thing.

I guess maybe the closest I can get is when I was in elementary school my flute teacher and I went to see James Galway at the Hollywood Bowl and afterwards she took me back to meet him behind the bowl. He's such a talented and amazing player that I was pretty impressed to meet him.

2. Tell us about a celebrity you'd like to meet.

I don't know, maybe W, but just so I could kick him in the nads and tell him what I think of him. But so many people have done that much better and eloquently than I could, so why bother.

Then again, maybe Billy Joel, I'd be happier if I met him. :)

3. Tell us about someone great who's *not* famous that you think everyone oughta have a chance to meet.

OK, I went round and round and round in this one, but I've come full circle so here it is. Everyone should have a chance to meet my son, LB. For a 3.5 year old he's smart, articulate, and even cute. (note, I am TOTALLY biased)

4. Do you have any autographs of famous people?

I think I have a few Galway autographs somewhere, on the programs from the concerts.

5. If you were to become famous, what would you want to become famous for?

Helping humanity in some great way-I just haven't figure out how yet.

Bonus: Whose 15 minutes of fame was up long, long ago?

Pick many a celebrity:
Tom Cruise
Paris Hilton
Anna Nicole Smith (however you spell it)
