Finally took the I-book in to the Apple store to be looked at. It's not charging, and it's not the external charger, it's a little board inside the computer that's the problem.

The board costs $7.00 (I kid you not). However, it's burried in the computer such that you have to take the entire thing apart to get to it. So the labor to replace this little piece is about $130. But compared to the price that Greg paid for the same repair, or a new laptop, it's definitely worth it. So I'm doing it. It'll be about 5 days for it to be finished, which means that most likely they'll call on Thursday when we're leaving town, but oh well.

At least it's getting fixed, which is really all that I wanted.
