When I asked today, what LB wanted to be for Halloween, he thought for just a minute and then said that he wanted to be a wizard.

I thought I'd get to make him a new robe, but then I remembered that when I made the last one (which he wore when he was two and again when he was three), I had to tack the sleeves up so that they were the right length. When we got home, I pulled it out and put it on him-yep the sleeves were too short, so I let out the tacks. Now they're just about the perfect length.

He has said that he'd like pants made for him, he requested the same material but I don't think I can find the SAME material. We'll have to see what I can find.

The robe is not floor length on him now, it's about mid calf. But now I wonder if I can add length to it or if I should just leave it but make some really cool looking pants. Anyone have any brilliant thoughts?

My current pants plan is to just do simple baggy pants (what the heck are they called?) with elastic in the legs and a draw string at the waist.

And lucky for me he can still wear the hat!! It looks like I MIGHT have gotten off easy again this year for Halloween. Which is good since, I should have started a while ago if I was going to make a full costume.
