So the book logs aren't weekly, but they're still interesting, I hope.

For the past week, he's wanted a story from the collection of Dora stories (there are 7 in the book and he doesn't always want the same one). His other choices have varied.

Just today he brought up a book that had been down in the family room and wanted to hear parts of it, so I think that might be the next favorite, we'll see.

Then he pulled "The Adventures of Capitol Kitty" out and wanted to read it. It seemed long, so I put it off until morning, when we weren't already getting him into bed late. We read it Saturday afternoon (I think), and then he read it with my parents when they babysat for him Saturday night. What an awful book. It was written by Sharon Davis and it was meant to teach kids about what goes on in the CA capitol, but really it didn't. It didn't keep his interest very well, and there were places where I turned the page to continue and thought I'd accidentally skipped a page inbetween, I was wrong, it was that poorly done. So I've quietly removed it from circulation-we'll see if he notices and asks for it.
