The Tooth Fairy has made four visits to our house this week. Either my two kids are getting older (and that means I'M getting older...) or they've got scurvy. Maybe it's scurvy...

Anyway, Friday Freelancing, ey? I was supposed to have an interview with the PR person at The Broadmoor in Colorado and keep missing her. Worked a bit on the novel, ran some errands, then had an interview with a doc about Hepatitis C. Transcribed it, made some calls. Pretty slow day. I bundled up all the Journals I needed to send out to contributors and got that ready, so that's at least one busywork job out of the way. Spinning my wheels? It feels like it, though it may be the calm before the storm. There are several things I have to do next week, no flim-flamming, and that may be why I'm dicking around today.

I've got a friend who trains dogs to sniff out corpses and I've got a few questions for her, so I gave her a ring and got voicemail. Had a nice chat with PJ Nunn with Breakthrough Promotions about hiring her if I get the contracts. I may hire her anyway. I've got about 350 copies of Dirty Deeds to move and I'm getting sick of them being in my office, so I may just bite the bullet and hire her to get things going from now until, say, July, when travel, etc., going to make it too big of a pain to promote for a couple weeks. I'll give it some thought this weekend.

Otherwise, oh ho hum. Weather sucks. I mentioned it was in the 80s earlier in the week. It's about 45 today and they're predicting the possibility of snow this weekend. Of course, if you wanted a weather report you'd visit weatherbug, so since I'm having some problems being productive and being entertaining, maybe I should just sign off. Have a good weekend.

Best,
Mark Terry
