Well, here it is, the first snow day of the year. Got somewhere around 6 inches last night of the fluffy white stuff and of course my sons are delighted. They're watching Spiderman 2 in their pajamas now. Haven't eaten breakfast or taken showers. I rolled over and slept in a bit since I don't have to get them off to school and I won't be slogging off to the gym due to the roads.

Will I get work done?

Sure. I've got an article to write and turn in today. A draft of another article I want to write. And work on the novel.

I've also got a 15 point to-do list that includes things like "buy notepads" and "work on marketing plan for Pitchfork" and "update website."

I may even try to set up some interviews for a couple other articles on the burner, but Fridays aren't the best day for that anyway.

And of course, I'll be out shoveling the driveway.

Have a good weekend.

Best,
Mark
