I called my producer acquaintance (John) today just to make sure he got a second spec -- the TV pilot -- that I sent to him. Not only had he received it, but he'd forwarded both the pilot and my film to two old-time producers: Bernie Weitzman and Herb Saunders. Apparently, Mr. Weitzman produced for Gene Roddenbury and Mr. Saunders did much TV production as well.

I was astonished that John had not only read the pilot but enthusiastically passed on my material to others. They've had the material for a week, and John advised giving them another week to get around to reading the scripts.

We'll see what happens!
