Back to the phones we go, still without a clear understanding as to why it's such an onerous chore for me.

American Pilot
Called Donna Harrison today at Tribune Entertainment. While she's not taking pitch meetings at the moment, she requested that I send over a description of my project through JoAnn. I will put together that material and do so.

Fork-Tailed Devil
I called CAA and spoke to John Ptak's office, the US rep for Peter Weir. They said I could send the script to them, to Peter's attention, to see if it might be a project that interests him. That will go out tomorrow.

Mind Games
I originally called SciFi to get the appropriate name of the person to contact with regards to getting Mind Games over to them. I originally had a contact name in New York, but (fortunately, it turns out) I lost it. It's not the right contact anyway -- I spoke to Michelle at SciFi, and she asked that I have JoAnn fax over the synopsis. Left word for JoAnn, so that will go out tomorrow as well.

General follow-up
Left word with Edith, an enthusiastic but independent producer who'd raved about Mind Games and Fork-Tailed Devil this past summer. Let's see if she's still in business, eh?
