When I joined Women in Film, I started going to the director's workshop run by Lilyan Chauvin. She's a member of all three guilds (WGA, DGA and SAG) and she teaches directors how to work with scenes and actors. I like watching her teach, and I've learned a bunch of how a good director will work with people.

I forwarded her a couple of scenes from my Demo Reel Scenes endeavor, to see if they might be useful in the workshop. She called me to discuss them, and wants to use one in particular in next month's workshop. Woo! So at the end of October, I'll get to see possibly three different directors work with my scene.
