I just got the call from Women in Film that I've been selected for the mentorship program, and my mentor's name. Ellen Weston is my mentor. The WIF organizer thinks we'll be a good fit, and Ellen is "well entrenched" in the industry.

I want to do more research first, but then I'll send her an e-mail (her preffered contact method) and see what advice she has to offer.
