Worked through an outline of this month's tale with the help of an interesting little bit of software called Drama-Pro. It's assisted outlings, a bit constraining in parts. Some of the elements in "throughlines" aren't necessarily the ones that best suit the tale, but answering them could be regarded as a directive, constructive form of brainstorming (or an elaborate method of procrastination--just get to the dag-nabbed writing, you putz!)

So, I gave it a test-drive. We'll see by October 31st if it was worth the day of not actually laying down a word count.
