I'm back in ChiTown.

Dad is home, doing what it takes to grow stronger. He sounds better too.

When I got on the plane to fly home, I was already in a full blown sinus attack (Coastal Texas Hometown is allergy HELL) that had migrated to the ears. By the time I got off the plane, I was miserable.

The doc here took one look at my throat and sinuses yesterday and declared it was a sinus infection and bronchitis. I'm on Avelox...a new antibiotic for me.

I'm in that awkward place of having a lot of things that need tending to, and a lot of folks looking to me in various capacities to get some things done, but knowing that I have to take care of me a little bit right now.

Luckily, Sunday will take care of itself...but the rest? Will have to wait.
