Mood:
seeking serenity

Jenn, Derek and others have been talking about the odd dissonance between listening to news of the war(s) and living normal lives.

For myself, I find comfort in the following quote:

"Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh."
-- George Bernard Shaw

Life is.

Cherish it in all the little, "normal" things that happen every day. Think about what you do for money. Does it bring you joy, even in some small way? Does it help others? Does the book you're reading make you think or feel something inside? I get to do laundry today, and I really don't mind, because it's part of tending our nest and our haven.

People are going to die. People are always going to die.
Honor Life by living it.
