Although Hunter's vocabulary is growing at a tremendous rate (yes, he is at that stage where you have to be careful what you say around him because he will repeat everything you say), his enunciation isn't always progressing at the same speed.

Today, I felt terrible at lunchtime because I had to confess to him that, even with him repeatedly begging for them by name, I had no idea what "feet dittos" were.

Fortunately, I was able to figure it out eventually. Half a pound of sweet potatoes later, he was happy. (He was also asleep in his chair, completely smeared in his requested delicacy, and he didn't even wake up when I washed his hands and face and took him out to put him to bed. Everyone: Awwwwwwww....)


PS I don't normally let him eat that much sweet potato at one sitting, since vitamin A isn't water-soluble, but I figured once in a while, I could let him stuff himself silly.
