Yesterday, Hunter and I were playing Television. He had a plastic "frame" from one of his toys, so we were taking turns holding the frame around our faces and "making programs." His seemed to revolve around a theme: the princess had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (or pudding) and then the big dragon (or dinosaur) came and ate them all up.

After a couple of Once Upon A Time stories on my part, I decided to do something different: a documentary on how to sew our own clothes (very simplified, of course.)

Apparently, this made some sort of impression, because during another bout of the game later that afternoon, Hunter's story went something like this:

"Once upon a time, we had to make our own shirts. We got... oh, no! Look! The bears are coming in the spaceship!"

(I love it -- just like I love when he "sings along" with the THX soundcheck and the whistling teapot.)
