I released a new story for Amazon Kindle. It's called NIGHT FAMILY and it is about 8400 words. The ebook short is 37 pages, and contains a sample of DEAD OR ALIVE and a short author's note.

The new story is a prequel of sorts to DEAD OR ALIVE. As it says in the author's note, I originally wrote DEAD OR ALIVE for a contest at the Book and Candle Pub on Delphi. When I rewrote it recently, I expanded it to about 7800 words, and introduced some new characters. Also, it became apparent to me that there was more to tell in this story, so I wrote the story of the missing girl from DEAD OR ALIVE in this story, NIGHT FAMILY. I have also written a 9000 word story about what happens to the detective after the events of DEAD OR ALIVE.
